The main jobs that are of most important when a company is developing a video game is that of a programmer, developer, and designer. The job of a programmer is to develop software or code bases for video games. In all video games there is coding required to be done for such things audio, physics and even graphics this is what a programmer is responsible for creating. The requirements to be a programmer are that you have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or mathematics. The next of the jobs considered to be important is a video game developer. The responsibility of a video game developer involves the creation of visual content and like a programmer writing codes for to ensure a game has proper functionality. The requirements to be a game developer are the same as a programmer. The last of the main jobs that hold most importance involving the development of a video game is a video game designer. A designer’s responsibility is designing characters, puzzles, art or even animation for the game they are working but they can also have managerial role as they would have to sometimes be responsible for managing tasks on a the project or doing early tests of a game to see how well it functions to ensure there are no errors overlooked. The requirements of a video game designer are a bachelor’s degree in game design, computer engineering and computer science. Meeting the requirements of these jobs will be a difficult task but the tasks of the jobs themselves will be difficult as they each hold great responsibility toward developing a video game.
